Experience Egypt Tours was created for travelers who value clarity, depth, and a thoughtful relationship with place. Our journeys are shaped by academic and historical insight, consistent and dedicated guiding throughout, private pacing free from group constraints, and a careful sequencing of sites, landscapes, and periods of rest. Each itinerary is designed as a coherent whole rather than a series of highlights, allowing understanding to emerge naturally through context and progression. The result is travel that feels grounded, intentional, and quietly refined.
Clarity matters. The following sections explain how we travel and how bookings are handled, from confirmation to completion.
HOW WE TRAVEL
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Experience Egypt Tours specializes exclusively in private, tailor-made journeys across Egypt.
DEDICATED GUIDING AND TRANSPORT
All tours are conducted with a licensed, English-speaking Egyptologist guide, a professional private driver, and a private air-conditioned vehicle, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
TAILOR-MADE ITINERARIES
Each journey is individually designed to reflect your pace, interests, and priorities, with deliberate scheduling and continuity throughout.
DEPTH AND CONTINUITY
Our guides live and work in Egypt and lead journeys with academic grounding, on-site expertise, and a measured, unhurried approach.
PRIVATE EXPERIENCE, EVEN WHEN SITES ARE SHARED
Some locations or cultural settings (such as museums, temples, desert camps, or performances) may include other visitors. However, your guiding, transport, itinerary structure, and overall experience remain private at all times.
BOOKING & PAYMENT POLICY
TO CONFIRM A BOOKING WITH EXPERIENCE EGYPT TOURS:
A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
This deposit becomes non-refundable once paid, reflecting the non-refundable commitments made to local suppliers.
The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.
During peak seasons, a 50% deposit is required; the remaining balance is still due 45 days prior to arrival
We manage all invoicing, receipts, taxes, and customer support directly within Egypt — whether payments are collected by us or on your behalf. Refunds apply only to amounts processed directly through Experience Egypt Tours.
We accept all major credit cards, including American Express, and process payments securely via Paymob, HyperWallet, or our Direct Booking Solution powered by TourRadar.
If a specific payment method is more convenient for you, you are welcome to let us know. Where compatible with Egypt’s banking and payment systems, we will do our best to accommodate it.
For credit card payments, a signed authorization form is required. The signature must match the cardholder’s passport and credit card.
FLIGHTS
DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
Domestic flight prices are quoted based on current availability and are subject to change. Any schedule or fare changes may result in a price adjustment.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
We are happy to assist with sourcing competitive international flight options from your home country, subject to availability and airline conditions. Please note that all airline tickets are governed by the operating airline’s own terms, including fare rules, change conditions, and refund policies. Any penalties or restrictions imposed by the airline are outside our control and will apply accordingly.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We aim to make your journey as enjoyable as possible. Any special requests should be communicated at the time of booking. While we will do our best to relay these requests to our suppliers, fulfillment cannot be guaranteed. Special requests do not form part of the contractual agreement, and our standard services are not conditional upon them.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
To comply with Egyptian tourism regulations and to secure flights, accommodations, desert permits, and guided services, a copy of each traveler’s passport details page is required at the time of booking confirmation.
Passport information is used solely for official registration purposes and is handled with strict confidentiality. Copies are submitted only to authorized authorities and service providers, as required by Egyptian law.
DEPOSITS, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Due to advance, non-refundable commitments required by Egypt’s tourism infrastructure — including hotels, domestic flights, licensed guides, private transportation, and limited-availability services — cancellation charges are calculated based on the total tour price, regardless of the amount paid at the time of cancellation.
Cancellation charges are applied against the total tour price and include any non-refundable deposit already paid. Any amounts paid will be credited toward the applicable cancellation charge; any shortfall remains payable.
CANCELLATION TERMS
From booking date up to 44 days prior to arrival
40% of the total tour price becomes chargeable
43–29 days prior to arrival
60% of the total tour price becomes chargeable
28–15 days prior to arrival
75% of the total tour price becomes chargeable
14–1 days prior to arrival or no-show
100% of the total tour price becomes chargeable
These charges reflect costs already committed to suppliers and services secured on your behalf.
Please note that cancellation terms may vary for group bookings or specially tailored itineraries, depending on confirmed services.
REFUNDS
Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method
A 5% bank and transaction fee is deducted from all refunda
No refunds are issued for no-shows
RESPONSIBILITY & FORCE MAJEURE
Experience Egypt Tours is not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural events, political circumstances, strikes, or force majeure.
Airlines, hotels, and other third-party suppliers operate under their own terms and conditions. Any schedule changes, cancellations, or service modifications imposed by these suppliers remain their responsibility. While Experience Egypt Tours is not responsible for costs or penalties resulting from such changes, we will make every reasonable effort to assist with alternative arrangements and to minimize disruption to your journey.
Any additional costs arising from circumstances beyond our control are not included in the tour price.
ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT
Payment of a deposit or full amount constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms and conditions. This agreement represents the full understanding between the client and Experience Egypt Tours.
We are always available to clarify any aspect of these policies before booking and are happy to walk through details personally when needed.
