Transparency, Clarity, and Confidence

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

RESERVATION & DEPOSIT 

To formally secure your journey, an initial deposit is required at the time of confirmation:
  • Standard Bookings: 30% of the total trip cost
  • Peak Travel & Exclusive Inventory: 50% of the total trip cost
  • Bookings within 60 days of arrival: 100% full payment at confirmation

A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.

The deposit is applied toward your total journey investment and secures accommodations, cruise inventory, guiding services, domestic flights, and curated arrangements as outlined in your itinerary.

All quoted prices are subject to availability and may change until the required deposit is received.

 

PAYMENT SCHEDULE 

The final payment is scheduled as follows:
  • 60 days prior to arrival: The remaining final balance is due in full.

Timely payment ensures the continuity of all secured arrangements. In the absence of final payment by the due date, services may be released and deposits forfeited in accordance with our supplier commitments.

 

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS 

We accept the following forms of payment:
  • International bank transfers
  • Secure online credit card payments via invoice link

All payments must be made in the currency specified on the invoice. Any bank transfer fees or credit card processing charges are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

PRICING & CURRENCY

All pricing is based on current supplier rates and exchange conditions at the time of quotation.

Experience Egypt Tours reserves the right to adjust pricing prior to final payment in the event of significant currency fluctuations, newly imposed government taxes, or unforeseen fuel surcharges.

Any such adjustments, if required, will be communicated transparently.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date your written notice is received:
  • More than 60 days before arrival: Deposit is retained.
  • 30–59 days before arrival: 50% of the total trip cost is retained.
  • 0–29 days before arrival: 100% of the total trip cost is retained.

Certain components, including domestic flights, special access permits, private charters, or exclusive-use properties, may be strictly non-refundable from the moment of booking, regardless of the timeline above. Any such conditions will be clearly communicated to you in advance.

Where possible, and subject to supplier approval, Experience Egypt Tours will make reasonable efforts to apply recoverable funds toward a future journey.

ACCOMMODATION SELECTION & QUALITY POLICY

ACCOMMODATION SELECTION PRINCIPLES

CURATED DIVERSITY
For each environment, we select stays that reflect the character of the landscape — ranging from 5-star city hotels to carefully chosen heritage lodges and professionally managed private desert camps.
CONFIRMATION OF STAY
One hotel, lodge, or camp from the curated selection relevant to your itinerary will be confirmed upon receipt of your deposit.
AVAILABILITY & STANDARDS
Final accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. Experience Egypt Tours may confirm an alternative property or camp of equivalent category and intent, ensuring alignment with our standards for comfort, location, and character.
THE DESERT EXPERIENCE
In remote regions where conventional hotel infrastructure does not exist — such as the White Desert — accommodation takes the form of high-quality desert camping arrangements. These are intentionally selected for privacy, safety, and immersion in the natural environment rather than hotel-style amenities.
INTEGRITY OF CHOICE
Any adjustment is managed personally by our team to preserve the intended atmosphere, quality, and continuity of your journey, regardless of setting.

FLIGHTS

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS
Domestic flight prices are quoted based on current availability and are subject to change until ticketed. Any schedule or fare changes may result in a price adjustment.
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
We are happy to assist with sourcing competitive international flight options from your home country, subject to availability and airline conditions. Please note that all airline tickets are governed by the operating airline’s own terms, including fare rules, change conditions, and refund policies. Any penalties or restrictions imposed by the airline are outside our control and will apply accordingly.

AMENDMENTS

Requested modifications are subject to availability and may incur supplier penalties or administrative adjustments. Significant changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

To comply with Egyptian tourism regulations and to secure flights, accommodations, desert permits, and guided services, a copy of each traveler’s passport details page is required at the time of booking confirmation.
Passport information is used solely for official registration purposes and is handled with strict confidentiality. Copies are submitted only to authorized authorities and service providers, as required by Egyptian law.

RESPONSIBILITY & FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, political unrest, or airline disruptions), Experience Egypt Tours will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services where possible. Any refunds in these situations will be strictly subject to the terms and conditions of our local suppliers.

TRAVEL INSURANCE 

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests. We advise ensuring coverage includes trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and travel interruption protection.

ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT

Payment of a deposit or full amount constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms and conditions. This agreement represents the full understanding between the client and Experience Egypt Tours.
